This Privacy Policy describes how PaveWay Group, Inc. collects, uses, stores, and discloses your personal data in compliance with the Republic of Cameroon Cybersecurity Law (No. 2010/012), CEMAC Data Protection Directives, GDPR, and the African Union Malabo Convention.
1. Information We Collect
- **Profile Data**: Full name, email address, nationality, highest degree, field of study, languages spoken, and age.
- **Documents & Files**: Curriculum Vitae (CV) uploads, cover letters, and statements of purpose.
- **Billing Details**: Mobile Money phone number, subscription records, and transaction histories.
- **Communication Channels**: WhatsApp numbers and Telegram chat IDs.
2. How We Process Your Information
We process your personal data for the following purposes:
- To verify your eligibility for scholarships and matching jobs.
- To analyze your CV and cover letters using secure Google Vertex AI models to deliver feedback.
- To send instant match alerts via Telegram or WhatsApp.
- To process checkout billing via PaveWay Mobile Money integrations.
3. Data Processing Disclosures & AI Ingestion
To provide our AI Application Copilot and CV Extraction, your uploaded files and text goals are submitted to Google Cloud Vertex AI API endpoints. Your data is processed in secure, non-training environments; Google does not use your personal documents to train its public LLM models.
4. Data Retention & Erasure
- Your profile details and CV files are retained in our secure databases as long as your account remains active.
- **Right to be Forgotten**: You can request the complete erasure of your data at any time. Simply navigate to your Settings profile and select "Delete Account," or contact us at [email protected]. All profile documents, files, and match history will be permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
5. Transborder Data Flows
Your data may be processed on servers located outside the CEMAC zone (specifically in secure Google Cloud regions). We enforce standard contractual clauses to ensure your data receives protection equivalent to international standards.
